Maintenance and management of wet paint booths

Advantages of introduction in wet paint booth:

Oil is used in many fields of industry. The use of micro/nano bubbles is a very effective way for facilitating separation by floatation. In general, it is very difficult to perfectly separate oil from water because part of the mixture is often emulsified.
The use of micro/nano bubbles can accelerate the breaking of emulsion, inducing not only water-oil separation but also the floatation and separation of suspended solids borne in the liquid.

Advantages of introduction:

1. Realizes oil-water separation with small energy at a low cost (can be added to existing facilities)

May be able to realize separation which has been difficult with conventional technologies
The recovered concentrated oil may be sold as a valuable depending on properties, or requires a lower cost of disposal as industrial waste than with conventional methods
The water after treatment may be reused (recycled), for instance, by diluting

2. Controls odor (preventing fouling)

Where a large scale of oil-water separation needs to be done in a short time, it may be practical to collect most of floating oil within a certain length of time in a pre-treatment process, then collect by filtration only the little residual oil left due to the limit of time. In such cases, the oil load on the filter is so small that the intervals between filter replacements can be much longer, realizing the treatment of large amount of liquid at a minimum running cost.

Small particles such as powders sediment very slowly even if they are metals of large specific weight, while such particles float up slowly if they are lighter than water in specific weight: so, they stay suspended in water unless they are left in a stationary condition for a long period of time. But when these matters are generated in large amounts within a factory, it is difficult to leave them in a stationary condition for a long time due to the limit of time and space.
Thus, in the past, filters, large amounts of floccing agents, or pressurized floatation collection systems were needed, incurring high initial costs and running costs.

Micro/nano bubbles facilitate these suspended matters to float and separate from liquid.
By combining it with a collection system appropriate for the matters to be collected, you can improve your series of operations from separation, floatation to collection, dramatically reducing the initial and running costs of your facility.
